Carter Hutton didn't have a chance when it came to stopping this Patrick Kane shot. It's too perfect.
Patrick Kane is on fire right now, and his late first period goal against the Nashville Predators on Tuesday gave him 20 goals for the seventh straight season to start his career.
That's an impressive accomplishment. Also impressive? The shot he used to beat Predators goalie Carter Hutton.
After Kane came flying through the middle of the Nashville defense, he picked the top corner with this absurd backhander that flew right over Hutton's glove hand. There is perfect shot placement, and then there is this.
There's not much you can do as a goalie when one of the best players in the world hits his mark like that.
