NHL schedule 2014: Times, TV schedule and how to watch Tuesday's games online

The Penguins take a four-game winning streak on the road to Minnesota to face the wild; Elsewhere, the Stars host the Kings as each tries to snap out of a losing funk.

After getting just an appetizer on Monday with the St. Louis Blues beating the New York Rangers 4-3 in a shootout, the NHL really amps up action on Tuesday with 12 games to pick from.

The Pittsburgh Penguins head into Minnesota to take on the Wild at 8 p.m. ET while riding a four-game winning streak. The Wild are hot themselves having won three in a row. The Pens are scoring a ton and are led by Sidney Crosby with 18 points in 10 games. Evgeni Malkin is right behind him with 15.

The Wild have been a bit quieter with Zach Parise leading the team with 10 points. Thomas Vanek scored his first goal of the season, and the Wild's first power play goal of the season, on Saturday against Dallas. He's second on the team with eight points. Goalie Darcy Kuemper will have his hands full dealing with Pittsburgh's potent attack.

Speaking of the Dallas Stars, they play host to the Los Angeles Kings at 8:30 p.m. at American Airlines Center. The Kings have had major woes on their current five-game road trip going 0-3-1 so far including a loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Sunday. They've yet to win away from Staples Center this season. The Stars haven't been much better at home of late going 1-0-4 there this season. They're also 0-2-2 in their past four games.
